Segundo ele, em 2025 Vit\u00f3ria da Conquista registrou 34 Crimes Violentos Letais Intencionais (CVLI), menor n\u00famero da s\u00e9rie hist\u00f3rica recente. \u201cO desafio n\u00e3o \u00e9 apenas manter esses \u00edndices, mas reduzi-los ainda mais para que Vit\u00f3ria da Conquista alcance tamb\u00e9m a m\u00e9dia nacional e figure entre as cidades mais seguras do Brasil\u201d, afirma o secret\u00e1rio.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Redu\u00e7\u00e3o hist\u00f3rica da viol\u00eancia<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Os n\u00fameros da Secretaria de Seguran\u00e7a P\u00fablica da Bahia mostram uma queda expressiva na viol\u00eancia letal ao longo da \u00faltima d\u00e9cada. Em 2016, Vit\u00f3ria da Conquista registrou 209 v\u00edtimas de Crimes Violentos Letais Intencionais. Em 2025, esse n\u00famero caiu para 34 v\u00edtimas, o menor da s\u00e9rie hist\u00f3rica apresentada. Apenas na compara\u00e7\u00e3o entre 2024 e 2025, os registros passaram de 74 para 34 ocorr\u00eancias, uma redu\u00e7\u00e3o de 40 casos.<\/p>\n<p>Para Crist\u00f3v\u00e3o Lemos, o desempenho de Vit\u00f3ria da Conquista n\u00e3o pode ser explicado por uma \u00fanica a\u00e7\u00e3o, mas pelo trabalho integrado entre Uni\u00e3o, Estado, Munic\u00edpio e sociedade.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Segundo ele, a seguran\u00e7a p\u00fablica deixou de ser entendida apenas como responsabilidade das for\u00e7as policiais e passou a envolver pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas em diversas \u00e1reas, conforme prev\u00ea o Sistema \u00danico de Seguran\u00e7a P\u00fablica (SUSP). \u201cA seguran\u00e7a p\u00fablica \u00e9 uma corrente formada por v\u00e1rios elos.
